Gormley wants domestic water charges

The Environment Minister John Gormley has again warned that domestic water charges will happen.

Mr Gormley made the comments as he launched a new rainwater harvesting technology for schools.

The system could account for 85% of a school's needs and cut water charge bills which were fully introduced at the start of the year.

Mr Gormley has insisted he is going to make households pay to help cut the costs for schools.
