Gormley: Greens will not push for Tánaiste appointment

Green Party leader John Gormley has today insisted that he has no intention of pushing Fianna Fáil on promoting him to Tánaiste.

Gormley denies his party has any promotion agenda in the negotiations on a new programme for Government.

Minister Gormley has said that the focus will be on policy issues, and the Nama plan and education cutbacks likely to dominate the talks.
