Good news for Enda Kenny and Fine Gael in latest poll

A new poll shows support for Fine Gael is recovering and a rise in the satisfaction rating of the Taoiseach.

The latest Ipsos MRBI survey in today's Irish Times outs support for the main Government party at 24% - up five percentage points compared on the last poll.

Sinn Féin are also on 24%, an increase of two points.

Enda Kenny's personal support rating has jumped nine points to 28%.

Labour are up one to 7%, while Fianna Fáil have suffered a four-point drop to 17%.

Independents are also down in this latest poll - they are now at 28% - a fall of four points.
