Girl in serious condition after Down road accident

A 16-year-old girl is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision in Co Down.

The single-vehicle crash happened on the Magheraknock Road in Ballynahinch at around 8.15am this morning.

The male driver of the vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses to the crash are asked to contact police.
