Gardaí to probe Cork petrol-bomb attack

Gardaí in Cork are investigating a petrol-bomb attack on a house in Ballyphehane in the early hours of this morning.

The petrol bomb was thrown through the front window of a house in Kileenreendowney Avenue at 1.40am this morning.

There were two people in the house at time, but they escaped uninjured.

Minor damage was caused to the building.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
