Gardaí seize €840k of heroin after tip-off

Gardaí have seized heroin worth €840,000 in Dublin.

The drugs were seized during searches on Thursday in the Walkinstown area, including a parked car.

The operation followed a tip-off from a member of the public regarding suspicious activity in the Limekiln Lane area of Dublin 12.

There were no arrests and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are appealling to anybody with further information in relation to this seizure to contact their local Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
