Gardaí seek witnesses to crash that killed man and puts three in hospital

A 19-year-old man has died in a road crash in Co. Roscommon.

He was killed when the car he was a passenger in struck a wall on the road near Four Mile House at around 8pm yesterday evening.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Roscommon Hospital.

Three other men in their 20s, who were in the car at the time, are being treated in hospital.

Gardaí have since re-opened the road after a technical examination and are asking anyone with information to contact Roscommon Garda Station.
