Gardaí search for missing Galway man Seán Ó hIarnain

Gardai in Clifden wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 46 year old Seán Ó hIarnain (aka as John Hernon) missing from Carna, Co. Galway.

Seán was last seen on the morning of August 29 when he left the Days Hotel, Santry Cross in Ballymun, Dublin, having travelled from Carna the day before.

Seán is described as being 6’ 2’’ tall of broad build and with grey hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to be driving a white Volvo S60 car registration 152 G 1374 and may be in the greater Dublin or Kildare area.

Anyone who has seen Seán or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Clifden Garda Station on 095 22500, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Update 16th September, 1.23pm. Seán Ó hIarnain has been found safe and well.
