Gardaí release second woman without charge after Temple Bar assault death

Gardaí have released without charge a woman being questioned in connection with a fatal assault in Dublin City Centre last week.

29-year-old Gareth O'Connor from Clondalkin died after row broke out on Cow's Lane in Temple Bar last Thursday at about 9pm.

Gardaí at Pearse Street are renewing their appeal for witnesses or anyone who may have filmed the incident to come forward.

Two women were arrested as part of the investigation yesterday.

Both women have been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
