Gardaí release 10 people held after Portmarnock shooting

Gardaí have released without charge all 10 people held in relation to the fatal shooting of Sean Winters at the weekend.

Mr Winters, who was in his 40s, was fatally shot near the Portmarnock Dart Station at about 10.20pm on Friday.

He was shot a number of times.

Seven males and three females between the ages of 24 and 56 were arrested in north county Dublin after the shooting.

Files are now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
