Gardaí question man about cannabis growhouse in Clare

A man in his thirties remains in Garda custody, following the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in Co Clare.

Cannabis plants worth an estimated €144,000 were seized, from what was described as a "sophisticated growhouse" in Mullagh, shortly after midnight yesterday morning.

A man aged in his early 30s was arrested and taken to Ennis Garda station, where he can be held for up to seven days.
