Gardaí probe Cork pub raid

Gardaí in Co Cork are investigating a robbery in which a bar manager was held up and a substantial amount of cash taken.

It happened at around midnight as the manager of the Red Store pub in Youghal was locking up the premises.

He was confronted by three men, one of whom may have had a knife, forcing him to hand over the days takings.

The area has been sealed off and gardaí are conducting a forensic examination of the scene.
