Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Crumlin yesterday in which a 16-year-old girl was killed.

Stacey Masterson from Kilmartin Green, Tallaght, died when the car in which she was a front seat passenger was in a collision with a bus.

A 19-year-old man who was driving the car is in Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the bus and a passenger were taken to St. James's Hospital with injuries described as minor.

Gardaí particularly want to speak to the drivers of two cars that were in the area of the crash at the time.

The cars, which were possibly silver in colour, overtook the bus which was at a bus stop on the Greenhills Road shortly before the crash.
