Gardaí investigation ongoing as body of man, 40, found in Athy

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 40s in Co Kildare.

The man’s body was discovered at a home in Athy at around 10pm last night.

A technical examination of the scene is underway this afternoon, and the body remains in the house.

Gardai have requested the services of the State Pathologist.
