Gardaí investigating tiger kidnapping make third arrest

Gardaí investigating a tiger kidnapping in Limerick last weekend have made a third arrest this evening.

A 34-year-old man was detained in the city shortly before 7pm - and he is now being questioned at Henry Street garda station.

Another man in his twenties - who was arrested yesterday - remains in garda custody this evening, while a 15 year old boy appeared in court on Wednesday in connection with the incident.

It happened last Sunday, when the teenage son of a post mistress was abducted from a house in Castletroy - but he managed to escape and raise the alarm.
