Gardaí investigate suspect device found overnight

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a suspect device in Dublin last night.

The device was found at the railings of a building on Charlemont Street and the Army Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the scene.

The building was evacuated and a controlled explosion was carried out on the package which was later declared to be not viable.
