Gardaí investigate Dublin stabbing

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man in his 40s was stabbed in Dublin last night.

The man received a single stab wound at a house on Bath Road in Balbriggan at around 9.30pm last night.

Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Beaumont Hospital.

His injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
