Gardaí investigate dead body discovery in Dublin

A dead body has been found near Phoenix Park in Dublin.

Gardaí in Cabra are investigating after the discovery of the man's body with burn injuries near Wellington Road, Phoenix Park at around 1am this morning.

The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist will be at the scene this morning.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses that may have been around Wellington Road between 12.30am and 1pm to help with the investigation.
