Gardaí hunt for man 'carrying shotgun and hand gun' after overnight shooting in Dublin

A manhunt is underway in Dublin after shots were fired overnight.

A number of shots were fired at a house in Labre Park in the Bluebell area, and nobody was injured.

It is understood Gardaí are searching for a man, believed to be armed, following the incident.

It is being reported that officers got reports of a man leaving the house and walking in the direction of a nearby canal, and it is alleged the man was carrying a shotgun and a hand gun.

Gardaí say no more information is available at present as a live operation is underway.
