Gardaí examine death of teenage boy

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenage boy in Co Offaly yesterday.

The 14-year-old died in Midlands Regional Hospital, after being admitted on Sunday morning.

A post mortem examination and toxicology tests have been carried out.

Gardaí are awaiting the results to determine the course of the investigation.
