Gardaí continue to question man in connection with Meath shooting

One man is in garda custody in Meath after a shooting in Kells on Saturday.

A house was shot at in the Archdeaconry area of the town.

A man in his 40s was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident, and a firearm was found during a follow-up search in the Carrick Street area of Kells.

The man is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
