Gardaí close section of Kildare road after blaze

Part of the Stradbally Road in Athy, Co Kildare is closed this afternoon due to a fire.

The blaze broke out in a shed and the road is closed between the junction of Main Street and Vicarstown Road.

Gardaí and fire services are at the scene and the blaze is under control.

There are no reports of injuries.
