Gardaí arrest woman in connection with fatal Limerick stabbing

Gardaí in Limerick have arrested a woman in connection with the murder of Paddy Redmond last month.

The woman, in her 40s, was arrested this afternoon and is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Henry Street Garda Station.

Redmond, who is in his 60s, was stabbed to death at an apartment on the Dock Road in Limerick at 2am on the morning of November 10.
