Gardaí arrest three in connection with dawn robbery in Kildare

Three people have been arrested in Co Kildare in connection with a robbery in the early hours of this morning.

A 19-year-old man and two male juveniles were arrested on the Dublin Road in Kildare town at around 3.30am.

It comes after they broke into a convenience store on Dublin Road and took a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

They fled the scene in a car but were followed by gardaí and arrested.

The three are in custody at Naas Garda Station.
