Gardaí appeal for witnesses to fatal crash in Co Westmeath

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s died in a two-vehicle collision in Co. Westmeath yesterday.

Shortly before 5pm the man was killed when his car collided with a lorry on the N52 Tyrellstown to Mullingar Road at Dalystown.

The driver of the lorry was brought to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Gardaí.
