Gardaí appeal for witnesses to 40 Foot incident

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious public order offence in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin to come forward.

Between 7pm and 8pm yesterday evening five or more people were involved in a violent incident at the 40 Foot baths in Sandycove, a seaside beauty spot popular during periods of good weather.

Three men in their 20s and 30s were arrested at the scene. One 22-year-old man remains in custody this afternoon, the others were subsequently released.
