Gardai appeal for witnesses following fatal crash

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision on the N11 Motorway in Wexford in the early hours of this morning.

At approximately 4.30am a man in his 20s was fatally injured when his car collided with a van at Garrycleary, Crossabeg.

He was pronounced dead the scene.

His body has been removed to Wexford General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The van driver, a man in his 40s, was also taken to Wexford General Hospital with minor injuries.

The N11 is currently closed to traffic in both directions.
