Gardaí appeal for information after man's body found in Waterford

Gardaí are appealing for information after the body of a young man was found in Waterford city.

The man, who was in his 20s, was found dead in a disused building on New Street at around 6pm yesterday.

A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out on his body today.

Gardaí are carrying out a technical examination of the scene, which remains sealed off this morning.
