Galway garda station remains closed after flooding

Galway's Mill Street Garda Station remains closed this morning due to flooding last night.

The station was evacuated yesterday evening after flooding occurred during works being carried out at the building.

Members of the public are asked to attend Salthill Garda Station for all policing matters

However, the telephone lines at Galway Garda Station are operational.
