Funeral of Natalie McGuiness to take place today

A young woman who was murdered in Sligo Town this week will be laid to rest today.

23-year-old Natalie McGuinness, was found in a home on the Mailcoach Road on Wednesday morning.

The first officers to arrive on the scene used a taser to subdue a man carrying a knife.

They have since charged a 33-year-old man with her murder.

Natalie's remains will arrive at Easkey Church for Mass at 12pm, noon, with the funeral afterwards at Churchill Cemetery, Dromore West.
