Funeral for elderly Mayo couple to take place as their son remains in hospital

Funeral mass for Tom and Kitty Fitzgerald who were found dead in their Mayo home will take place this afternoon.

Yesterday, Gardaí said they were looking for no one else in relation to the incident near Claremorris this day last week.

Their son remains in a critical but stable condition in Beaumont Hospital.

The family has asked for their privacy to be respected.
