Four men arrested after elderly man threatened in his home

Arrests have been made after four men threatened an elderly man in his home last night.

They entered the man's home near Taghmon, Co Wexford, at around 10pm last night.

They took a sum of money and electrical equipment after threatening the man.

In a follow-up operation, gardaí arrested four men in the Enniscorthy area.

The four, ranging in ages from their 20s to their 40s, are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Enniscorthy and Wexford Garda Stations.
