Fishing vessel detained off Kerry coast

A UK-registered fishing vessel has been detained by the Navy off the Kerry coast.

The boat was intercepted by the LE Roisin, 140 miles west of Dingle, for fishing in a restricted area.

It is currently being escorted to Castletown Berehaven, where the vessel and its crew will be handed over to gardaí.
