Fire prompts fresh safety concerns in Bray estate

Concerns are again being raised about the safety of houses in a Co Wicklow estate following another fire in the early hours of this morning.

Nobody was hurt during the blaze in the Oldcourt estate in Bray, which was spotted just before 1am.

Gardaí are currently carrying out an examination at the scene.

Local residents have been campaigning for improved safety measures following eight deaths during house fires during the past 20 years.
