Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said his party would not have supported
the Government's bank guarantee scheme, if it knew then what it knows now.
Mr Kenny said the Government should have disclosed the fact that there were doubts
about the solvency of Anglo Irish Bank in the run up to the guarantee scheme in September 2008.
Speaking at the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, Mr Kenny said if the full truth
was revealed - he believed the Dáil would not have supported the bank gurantee scheme.
