Fine Gael has said there is a lack of political will within the Government to progress the inquiry into Anglo Irish Bank.
The party is raising concerns at the absence of prosecutions following the banking crisis.
Fine Gael Finance Spokesman Michael Noonan is calling on the Director of Corporate Enforcement to publish an interim report to show where his investigation stands.
Deputy Noonan also wants the Justice Minister Dermot Ahern to make public as to when the Director of Public Prosecutions will be given the Garda file on Anglo.
"I'm asking him (Ahern) to enquire when a file will go to the DPP, and how far away are we from a completion of the investigation, and share that with the public," Deputy Noonan said.
"When I speak to the public they just don't think a lot is happening… we had a banking crisis and there is very little happening two years later."
