€4.5m of herbal cannabis seized at Dublin Port

€4.5m worth of herbal cannabis has been seized by Revenue at Dublin Port.

The 200kgs of cannabis - which had been double vacuum packed - was found concealed in more than 1,000 catering tins of olives in oil.

Officers believe the drugs originated in Spain and were destined for the UK.

Investigations are continuing here with international inquiries ongoing in Spain and the UK.
