Efforts continue to identify man found on Galway beach

Gardaí are continuing efforts to identify a man whose body was washed up on a County Galway beach.

The man was discovered near Lettermullen on Thursday, and gardaí have appealed for the public's help in revealing his identity.

Gardaí believe his body had been in the water for several days.

The man is described as being 6ft 2 inches and of medium to strong build.

Gardaí say he was wearing a Ralph Lauren blue-and-white check shirt, blue jeans and Nike runners.
