Dublin stabbing leaves man in hospital

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Dublin overnight.

He was attacked in the Castlecurragh housing estate in Mulhuddart around midnight, and rushed to James Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

The man in his 30s is described as having sustained very serious injuries.

The scene of the attack has been preserved and a technical examination is due to take place later.
