Dublin Bus and van collide in city centre crash

A van and a Dublin Bus have collided in the city centre.

The crash happened at the junction of Shaw Street and Townsend Street at around 7.10am.

It is understood the double-decker was empty at the time.

RTÉ reports that the bus driver and two people in the van suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

AA Roadwatch has said that the right-hand lane of Townsend St remains blocked and that gardaí are directing traffic.
