Drogheda pub robbery suspect due in court

A man will appear before Dundalk District Court later this morning in connection with an armed robbery at a pub in Drogheda on Saturday evening.

The incident happened at a premises on Marsh Street at around 8.15pm.

One of the raiders was detained by customers who intervened while the second man fled the scene.

Gardaí are still trying to trace his whereabouts.

One man, who was arrested at the scene, will appear in court at 10am this morning.
