Domestic trips up 5.2%

Irish residents made 1.8 million domestic trips in the second quarter of 2014.

Figures released by the CSO show a rise of 5.2% in the number of trips to other parts of the country.

Total expenditure on domestic trips in the months from April to June amounted to €337m.
