Dáil committee to examine university staff salaries today

The controversial salaries of university staff will come under the spotlight at a Dáil Public Accounts Committee later.

It is after a report from the Comptroller and Auditor General, which was published last week, revealed some workers are paid more than the approved levels.

It also highlighted that performance-based bonuses are being paid without being sanctioned in advance.
