Customs seize over €86,000 of cannabis; man arrested

Customs officers have seized cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €86,400 after searching a car at Rosslare Europort.

The seizure was made after a sniffer dog on routine profiling picked up a trace on the car which had travelled on a ferry from France.

Customs officers scanned the car and over 14kg the drug was found.

A British national in his 40s was arrested and taken to Wexford Garda Station.
