Culture Night 2016 officially launched today

Culture Night 2016 is being officially launched today.

The annual event will take place this year on Friday the 16th of September.

Museums, galleries, churches and buildings will open their doors to the public and host to free tours, performances, workshops and demonstrations.

Culture Night Coordinator Aimée Van Wylick describes the aim of the launch: “This morning we will have an installation in place in the art box gallery on James Joyce Street in Dublin.

“But essentially what it would be representing is all the different art forms that people can see on the night, so there will be art installations, there will be performers in place, musicians representing culture night.”
