CSO survey finds that majority of us are happy with our lives

Nearly eight out of 10 of us are happy with our lives, according to a survey by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO research has found that 75% of us would rate our overall satisfaction with life as high or very high.

According to the Irish Times, similar proportions were also found when respondents rated their happiness with the previous day.

Also four out of five adults gave themselves a high rating when evaluating how worthwhile their daily activities are.

However, the survey has also found that 15% of Irish people say they experience high levels of anxiety.
