Court rules Quinn family have to disclose further finance details

The High Court has ordered Sean Quinn and nine of his family members to provide more information about their assets and personal finances.

Today’s judgement was delivered following an application by lawyers for the former Anglo Irish Bank.

In delivering his judgement, Mr Justice Kelly said Sean Quinn and his family had sworn to give full details of their finances.

He described how he had given them time to do so, and how he felt they had not honoured their promises.

The disclosures focus on salaries paid to the family members through their international property group.

Mr Justice Kelly described the disclosure to date as “substandard” and he said it failed to discharge the defendant’s obligations.

He then made an order for the ten family members to provide all documents related to the “money trail” including electronic bank records.
