County Tipperary town wins Tidy Towns Award

Emly in Co. Tipperary has been named the tidiest town in Ireland.

The 51st Tidy Towns Awards have just been announced at a ceremony in Dublin.

The tidiest small village is Aughrim in Co. Wicklow, while the tidiest large town is Westport in Mayo.

The tidiest large urban centre is Ennis in Co. Clare.
