Council bids to buy land from landowners for social housing

Donegal County Council has launched an initiative to secure land for social housing.

It is looking for green and brown field sites in Ballybofey, Buncrana, Clonmany, Donegal Town; Falcarragh / Gortahork; Glenties, Ramelton and Stranorlar.

People interested in selling sites to the council should get in touch by midday on May 27, in writing.

The council has asked interested parties to submit the seven pieces of information below in relation to their land.

Map showing Location of the site and the site boundaries

Title and Vendors name and contact information

Topographical survey if available.

Information on ground conditions.

Past planning history and copies of planning permissions.

Site Area in Hectares

Asking Price.
