Cork airport rampage: Man due in court

A man in his 30s is due in court this morning charged in connection with an incident at Cork Airport on Sunday in which a man broke into the airport in a hijacked Garda jeep and attempted to ram a plane.

A member of the Gardaí was stabbed during the incident.

A man will appear before Cork District Court at 10.30am.
